Getting to and From Dublin Airport is super easy with the Aircoach route 700 with departures every 30 minutes. The Aircoach stop is located a 3 minute walk from Abbey Court Hostel at Drumcondra Rail Station and a convenient 20-minutes from Dublin Airport. There are a large supply of taxis available outside the terminal buildings at Dublin Airport.
Duration to Abbey Court Hostel is about 30 mins from the airport.
Driving Directions from Dublin Airport:
Leaving the airport, follow signs for the M1/N1 motorway to Dublin City.
Turn left onto R132
At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the M1 ramp to City Centre/M50
Keep right at the fork, follow signs for City Centre/Dublin Port and merge onto M1
Take the R104 exit toward Coolock/Santry/Beaumont
At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the N1 ramp to City Centre/Dublin Port
Continue onto N1 for 4.2km
At the next traffic lights turn right onto Great Denmark Street.
Dublin One Hotel will be on your left.
From Heuston Train Station
Taxi
There is a taxi rank when you exit out to the right of Heuston station.
Duration to Abbey Court Hostel is approximately 25 minutes.
Public Transport from Heuston Station
Outside the train station, get the Red Line luas heading to The Point.
Get off at the 5th stop, Abbey Street.
From here you can walk to the hotel which would be approximately 20 minutes
Or get a number of Dublin Buses in nearby streets like the 41 / 41C / 33 / 1 / 11 / 16 which all stop at the Inisfallen Parade bus stop.
The hotel will be across the road on the right-hand side.
From Connolly Train Station
Connolly Station is one of Dublin’s busiest railway stations in Dublin and Ireland. It provides InterCity, Enterprise and commuter services to the north, north-west, south-east and south-west of Dublin.
Connolly station is a 20 minute walk to Abbey Court Hostel.

The closest Luas station is on O’Connell Street, just a 15-minute walk away. From here, you can reach all corners of Dublin, with stops on the Green Line including Trinity, St. Stephen’s Green, Ranelagh & even Dundrum for a day of shopping. The Red Line stops at the National Museum, Smithfield, Jervis, Connolly Station and The Point, where the famous 3Arena is based.
Dart
The DART is one of the most convenient ways to travel around Dublin. If you want to take a day trip out to the stunning seaside town of Howth on the north side, or see the sights southside in Dun Laoghaire or Greystones, then the DART is certainly best option.
Connolly and Tara Street stations are both a 20-minute walk away, followed by:
